Ichthyosis is a family of rare genetic skin disorders characterized by dry, thickened, scaly skin. Ichthyosis vulgaris is commonly caused by a genetic mutation that’s inherited from one or both parents. Treatments for ichthyosis often take the form of topical application of creams and emollient oils, in an attempt to hydrate the skin. In some cases, excess dead skin sloughs off much better from wet tanned skin after bathing or a swim, although the dry skin might be preferable to the damaging effects of sun exposure. In meteorology, a cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of minute liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body. Wearing cloud to keep patient’s body wet.
